Well the time is almost upon us. Come Saturday the 23rd of August, Doctor Who will be returning to our screens.
I'm off tomorrow to watch it on the big screen, with a packet of gelatin shaped like babies and a 24 ft scarf wrapped around my neck.
In the meantime, could this man be the next Time Lord? Look out for the Sonic Sword.
The Japanese Doctor Who
Well that Japanesse Dr Who reminded me of just how bad the old Godzilla film was.
ReplyDeleteI used to own a long twenty foot plus Dr Who scarf made for me maybe forty plus years ago when the good Dr had one most of the time. Sadly it got left on a train in London and I have never seen it since. I rather hope someone thinks it is the real deal and has it stashed away safely.
I hope you enjoy seeing the new Doctor on the big screen Master Meglos and say hello to Miss Lily.......
Hello Rob, i had a miniature Doctor Who scarf when I was about 3. They now cost £47. For a Scarf!!
DeleteThe original Godzilla films are my favourite. Bad SFX are what makes them so good.
Thank you. Less than 6 hours to go until the screening! I'm so excited i could explode.
It is now sunday I have not been able to watch Dr Who yet..... Mrs H has been away and refuses to let me watch it without her!
ReplyDeleteShe is quite mean like that.
Hope you enjoyed it!
I have not seen it either Mr H, but in my case I am busy fighting Aliens and Zombies. The trials and tribulations of life as we chisel out our small space in the universe means no time for pleasure.
DeleteOooooo hang there is another one in the hedge row trying to sneak in better go. . . . .
Bumferry Hogart, you better not read the next post then. I thought that it was quite good, but the reviews have been really poor, mainly about the script being bad. I'm not sure if i agree, I thought Capaldi was very good, though he did overact a bit at some points. Hope that you get to watch it soon. I'd be most interested to know what you think.
ReplyDeleteBut Rob, it has aliens, sort of. And Zombies, sort of.
DeleteZombies are like spiders, they always show up when you're not looking.
